How to add a Bing Shopping Merchant Center Feed in Auctiva Commerce
Auctiva Commerce can automatically create and upload a Bing Shopping Merchant Center feed that will get your product information onto Bing Shopping's search properties. This can help drive more visitor traffic to your storefront and hopefully increase your sales. This tutorial will show you how to create a Bing Shopping Merchant Center feed. NOTE: Bing accepts product feeds two ways - either directly or through their partnership with Shopping.com - you can view more information about the Bing/Shopping.com partnership Here.
What is a Bing Shopping Merchant Center feed?
A Bing Shopping Merchant Center feed is a type of data feed that compiles your inventory into a single file that Bing Shopping uses to add your products to Bing Shopping's search properties. With a Bing Shopping Merchant Center Feed, your store inventory will be more likely to be found when a potential customer uses Bing Shopping to search for related products. This means that this data feed can increase the visitor traffic to your storefront. Bing Shopping Merchant Center feeds are free, but it does require you set up a free Bing Shopping user account with Bing Shopping Merchant Center and Bing Shopping FTP services.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Bing's feed service is now a cost-per-click service. For information about the Bing click fees, please contact Bing's Ad Center Support.
